New ISW Insight Series
America and its allies face dynamic threats from nimble adversaries with cogent strategies. Russia and Iran are seizing the initiative, often in partnership with one another, to advance interests that undermine long-term U.S. objectives. Counter-terrorism campaigns are not preventing Salafi-jihadi groups from gaining strength and setting deep roots in important regions. The United States must address immediate crises and develop long-term strategies to advance the nation’s security, prosperity, and liberty.
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) is dedicated to helping shape a national security strategy that can navigate the U.S. through a period of peril and potential opportunity. ISW remains focused on advancing an informed understanding of military affairs through reliable research, trusted analysis, and innovative education.
ISW will host its second annual Insight Series event on April 11, 2017 in Washington, DC. The ISW team will showcase its latest insights, analysis, and recommendations for the broader national security policy community. The event will bring together ISW’s analysts and leadership with policymakers, members of the military and defense community, non-government experts, business leaders, and journalists. The event will feature two interactive panels, including a Q&A discussion with audience members.
Prospective guests, including members of the media, should request an invitation. Space is limited. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, organization, and position. Please specify whether you would like to attend one or both of the panels.
