Jason Zhou is a Hertog War Studies Fellow at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW). Jason primarily works on supporting ISW’s forecasting and intelligence planning efforts. At ISW, Jason has also worked on Iraqi politics and ISIS’s global campaign—particularly in southeast Asia. Jason graduated from the University of Chicago in 2018 with a B.A. in Public Policy, with Honors. His college research focused on understanding why war scares may occur during military exercises and devising policy proposals to reduce the possibility of accidental war arising from military exercises on the Korean Peninsula.
