Operation Bastogne Pursuit was a subset of Operation Iron Pursuit designed to further deny insurgents a safe haven in Diyala Province.  While reporting on the operation was extremely limited, it most likely focused on the Hamrin Mountains in the Kifri and Khanaqin districts of Diyala province.
