"Ironhorse" Brigade Officer Reflects on Progress in Iraq

Major Patrick Michaelis, the operations officer of the Ironhorse Brigade, reflects on the remarkable progress that has been made in their area of operation over the last fifteen months. The Ironhorse Brigade has been responsible for the Taji, Abu Ghraib, and a small part of Anbar province. These areas were once strongholds for the Sunni insurgency, particularly al-Qaeda in Iraq. Thanks to the hard work of Coalition Force, the Iraqi Security Forces, and local security volunteers, these areas have undergone a "phenomenal change." For the full story, click here.
